💼 About the Role
As a Business Analyst at Barclays, you will translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and collaborate with product owners and technical teams to deliver impactful solutions aligned with business strategy.
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and translate business problems into actionable requirements
• Create documentation: BRDs, user stories, functional specs, acceptance criteria
• Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis
• Map current and future state processes, identify gaps and improvements
• Collaborate with tech, operations, and vendors for solution delivery
• Support testing lifecycle (UAT, defect management, readiness)
• Monitor delivery progress and ensure requirement traceability
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and control frameworks
• Communicate updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
🧠 Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, CS, Finance, or related field
• Experience as a Business Analyst or in change delivery roles
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge of Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO)
• Experience writing user stories and functional specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
⭐ Good to Have
• Experience in financial services / banking domain
• Knowledge of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns
• Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA
