About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Euphoric Thought Technologies, you will play a critical role in understanding business requirements and translating them into clear, actionable functional specifications. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in requirement gathering, documentation, and process analysis within a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders and clients
  • Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and workflows
  • Create and maintain documentation such as BRD, FRD, SRS, use cases, and process maps
  • Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact analysis
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product teams
  • Support the SDLC process through clear communication and structured documentation
  • Assist QA teams during testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Monitor project progress and resolve requirement-related issues
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and business optimization

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies and SDLC
  • Hands-on experience in creating:
    • BRD (Business Requirement Document)
    • FRD (Functional Requirement Document)
    • SRS (Software Requirement Specification)
    • User Stories and Use Cases
    • Flow diagrams and process maps
  • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities

Tools & Technologies

Proficiency in the following tools is essential:

  • JIRA & Confluence
  • MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Visio, Draw.io, or Lucidchart

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Experience in IT services, software development, or product-based companies
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and wireframing tools (added advantage)
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, or Scrum (preferred)
