  • Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely regulatory submissions.

  • Perform data analysis using SQL or similar tools to validate trade data, reporting logic, and regulatory outputs.

  • Participate in testing activities, including test case creation, execution, validation, and defect resolution.

  • Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams, clarifying requirements and resolving queries during development cycles.

  • Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to senior stakeholders and program leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in financial markets, regulatory reporting, or regulatory technology projects.

  • Mandatory experience with MiFID II or G20 regulations (strong preference for candidates with exposure to both).

  • Minimum 2+ years of direct experience working with MiFID regulations.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and derivative products, including:

    • Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)

    • Bonds

    • FX Cash

    • FX Options

  • Proven experience working across both functional and technical teams in large-scale financial systems.

  • Solid working knowledge of SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

  • Excellent documentation skills, including user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and functional/technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to additional regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, SFTR, MAS, or ASIC.

  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

  • Background in large-scale regulatory transformation programs or reporting platform migrations.
