Role Overview

As a Data Analyst (Freelancer), you will play a critical role in improving the quality of AI-generated analytical outputs. This is not a traditional dashboarding role—instead, you will evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated insights, ensuring high accuracy in data interpretation and business logic.

Your work will directly influence how AI systems understand data patterns, perform analysis, and generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse AI-generated datasets, reports, and dashboards for accuracy and relevance
  • Validate statistical outputs, data logic, and analytical reasoning
  • Identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and flawed interpretations in data outputs
  • Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance
  • Review and optimize prompts related to:
    • Data cleaning
    • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
    • Data visualization
    • Business metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data teams to enhance analytical frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong analytical foundation and hands-on experience with modern data tools:

Core Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data manipulation
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and data validation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of statistics and analytical reasoning
  • Ability to critically evaluate data outputs and identify errors
