📌 Data Analyst Role Overview

Maxima Apparel is expanding its analytics capabilities and modernizing its data stack. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming business requirements into impactful dashboards and insights using Power BI and PostgreSQL, while collaborating with global stakeholders.

📍 Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India

🕒 Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST (US – New York aligned)

💼 Key Responsibilities

📊 Reporting & Dashboards

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Connect and manage data from PostgreSQL, with future integration of ClickHouse & Cube.js
  • Build advanced DAX measures and optimize Power Query (M language)
  • Troubleshoot data issues, refresh failures, and performance bottlenecks
  • Manage report access, distribution, and stakeholder communication

🤝 Collaboration & Requirements

  • Work with global teams (US, China, Mexico) across sales, finance, and operations
  • Translate business questions into actionable data solutions
  • Partner with Data Manager for data consistency and model alignment
  • Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and workflows

⚙️ Automation & Tooling

  • Automate reporting workflows using Python and Power Automate
  • Suggest improvements to reporting architecture and data processes

🎯 Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Power Query)
  • Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Python for scripting and automation
  • Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

⭐ Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cube.js and semantic layer concepts
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse for real-time analytics
  • Knowledge of Power Automate
  • Understanding of data warehouse design (star/snowflake schema)
  • Experience with multi-source data environments
  • ETL/ELT fundamentals
