Job Overview

CoverGo is looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Health Insurance to work with clients and technical teams to identify business challenges, gather requirements, design solutions, and support the implementation of insurance technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements.
• Work with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and develop suitable solutions.
• Design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications.
• Create business requirement documents and user stories.
• Develop detailed test case scenarios and support application testing.
• Support QA, UAT, and Release activities.
• Analyze defects and support change management.
• Document processes, system functionality, workflows, and data integrations.
• Provide recommendations to improve business processes and activities.
• Assist with project task estimates and planning.
• Work within Agile/Scrum environments and support sprint and epic prioritization.
• Develop an understanding of technical development cycles for web portals and mobile applications.
• Coordinate or monitor the work of other Business Analysts when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.
• Previous experience in the health insurance industry is required.
• Insurtech experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, and UAT.
• Strong understanding of Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of system functionality, data integration, and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Technical writing experience is an advantage.
• Health insurance certification from INS, LOMA, or III is an added advantage.
