Senior Data Analyst – Hybrid Contract Opportunity in Bengaluru

MetAntz is hiring an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a multi-billion-dollar US-based GCC customer, one of the world’s most iconic global brands, at their Bengaluru (Bellandur) hub. This is a high-impact, data-driven role where you will work with large-scale datasets, uncover actionable insights, and directly influence strategic business decisions.

While the role begins as a 1-year contract, there is a strong likelihood of extension, absorption into the GCC customer, or redeployment across similar high-value clients.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive business growth and innovation. Your responsibilities include:

  • Extracting, analysing, and interpreting large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities

  • Designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau for stakeholders across leadership, product, and business teams

  • Performing statistical analysis to support hypothesis testing, experimentation, and business decision-making

  • Partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to define KPIs, metrics, and measurement frameworks

  • Translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation within data workflows

  • Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity across multiple data sources and reporting systems

  • Supporting ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, and investigative reporting into business performance and customer behaviour

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline

Technical Skills

  • SQL: 3+ years of hands-on experience writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and handling large datasets

  • Tableau: Proven experience building insightful dashboards and interactive visualizations

  • Statistics: Strong foundation in hypothesis testing, probability, regression analysis, and A/B testing methodologies

Experience

  • 3–10 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Analytics roles

  • Demonstrated ability to work with high-volume, high-complexity datasets

  • Experience presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, predictive modelling, or advanced analytics

  • Experience with additional BI or data visualization tools

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Understanding of e-commerce, marketplace, or technology-driven business models

    • Potential full-time absorption when roles open

    • Opportunity to continue working with MetAntz across similar enterprise customers

  • The GCC customer will provide an experience certificate for exclusive project engagement.
