Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This role offers a hybrid work model that allows partial remote flexibility.

As a Data Analyst at BangDB, you’ll play a critical role in understanding complex data systems, defining project metrics, and ensuring the successful delivery of analytics-driven solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, use your analytical skills to uncover insights, and guide the technical team in achieving data-driven goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse raw data to extract actionable insights and trends.

• Understand existing data systems and define workflows, logic, and key metrics.

• Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.

• Write and optimise complex SQL queries and use Python for data analysis and automation.

• Work with REST APIs to integrate and process data from multiple sources.

• Develop data visualisations, dashboards, and reports for business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate analytical insights clearly.

• Ensure high-quality project deliverables and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Strong expertise in Data Collection, Cleaning, Analysis, and Visualisation

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python

• Experience with REST APIs, dashboards, and data integration

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field

Preferred:

• Experience working with database platforms or analytics products

• Ability to balance on-site collaboration with remote work effectively

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
