Salary Range

Based on current market trends for experienced Lead Business Analysts in Kerala with SaaS/Product company experience:

Expected Salary: ₹18 LPA – ₹30 LPA

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a strategic role in bridging business requirements with technology solutions while supporting business development initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to qualify opportunities and define solution strategies.
  • Lead RFP and RFI responses with compelling business and technical proposals.
  • Conduct client discovery sessions and requirement-gathering workshops.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution documentation.
  • Deliver engaging client presentations, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during the pre-sales lifecycle by identifying value-added and upselling opportunities.
  • Support Agile delivery teams throughout project execution.
  • Ensure business objectives align with technical implementation.

Required Skills

Successful candidates should possess:

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within IT or software companies.
  • Mandatory experience in pre-sales activities.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies, REST APIs, databases, and system integrations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business documentation and analytical abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with collaboration and wireframing tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Figma
    • Confluence
    • Similar BA and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates will have an advantage if they possess:

  • Previous experience in SaaS or product-based organisations (Mandatory).
  • Domain expertise in:
    • Retail
    • Real Estate
    • E-commerce
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Strong client-facing consulting and solutioning experience.
