Job Overview: Junior Data Analyst (India)

We are looking for a skilled Junior Data Analyst who can join immediately and contribute to our data analytics projects. The ideal candidate must have strong SQL expertise, solid analytical thinking, and practical experience working with data. While academic qualifications are not a priority, the drive to learn, deliver, and grow definitely is.

This role requires the ability to work in a hybrid IST–US time zone schedule and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Cleaning

  • Collect data from various internal and external platforms.

  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and structure for analysis.

  • Organise large datasets to ensure quality and consistency.

2. Data Analysis & Interpretation

  • Write advanced SQL queries across multiple databases.

  • Apply statistical methods to derive meaningful patterns and insights.

  • Handle complex datasets and transform raw data into usable formats.

3. Data Visualisation & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Metabase, or Domo.

  • Present insights in easy-to-understand formats for business stakeholders.

4. Business Insights & Decision Support

  • Translate business challenges into clear, structured data questions.

  • Provide actionable recommendations based on analytical findings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing business goals.

5. Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Deliver concise, clear reports and presentations.

  • Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be located in India and available to join within one week.

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid India–US time overlap schedule.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and analytics.

  • Hands-on familiarity with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Looker Studio, or Domo).

  • Working knowledge of statistics, metrics, and KPIs is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a data analyst role is mandatory—not open to freshers.

  • Willing to undergo 2–3 rounds of interviews.

  • Candidates primarily focused on AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science career paths will not be preferred for this role.

  • Should be able to communicate why they are a strong fit—this company prefers substance over CVs.
