About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our analytics team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about working with data and eager to build a strong foundation in data analytics. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business strategy and decision-making.

You will work closely with data, business, and technology teams to analyze datasets, create reports and dashboards, and identify trends that help stakeholders understand performance and opportunities. This position offers hands-on exposure to real-world business problems and provides an excellent learning environment for aspiring data professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through regular quality checks

• Prepare insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business stakeholders

• Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs

• Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs, metrics, and performance tracking dashboards

• Document data processes, definitions, and analysis methodologies

• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and ongoing reporting initiatives

• Contribute to improving data workflows and reporting efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field

• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis (internships, academic projects, or certifications are acceptable)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying databases

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with attention to detail

• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation

• Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts such as mean, variance, correlation, and distributions

• Exposure to dashboards, KPIs, and business performance metrics

• Experience working with large or complex datasets

• Familiarity with data modeling or ETL concepts is a plus
