Role Overview: DevOps Engineer

Dhurin is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging development and operations, ensuring smooth, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient deployment of applications.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with backend developers, data engineers, and product teams to design, build, and maintain automated pipelines and cloud environments that support mission-critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Actions

  • Automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning to improve reliability and speed

  • Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

  • Deploy and manage Azure services, including:

    • App Services and Web Apps

    • Azure Functions

    • Static Web Apps

    • Virtual Networks (VNets)

    • Application Gateway

    • Private Endpoints

    • Azure Key Vault

    • Azure Storage

    • Azure SQL Server and Databases

  • Monitor application performance, system health, and security using Azure monitoring tools.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.

  • Support backend services built using Python, Django, and REST APIs

  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure failures

  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards relevant to financial services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of overall experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps Services and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with SQL databases, including Azure SQL Server

  • 1+ year of experience with Python, preferably in backend or automation contexts

  • 1+ year of experience with Java

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs

  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation, deployment scripting, and monitoring tools

  • Understanding of cloud security, networking concepts, and best practices

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
