🔍 Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Compunnel Inc., you’ll play a key role in turning complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, develop models and dashboards, and explore customer behaviours to enhance business profitability.

• Process and analyse large datasets using Python, PySpark, and Databricks

• Build predictive models, dashboards, and data pipelines

• Gain hands-on experience while learning and applying advanced analytical methods

• Provide data-driven insights to help business partners make smarter, more profitable decisions

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience with statistical tools and database languages

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative discipline

• Strong background in:

  • Python packages: PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, lifelines

  • Statistical & ML techniques: frequentist/Bayesian methods, forecasting, NLP, causal inference, optimisation

• Experience improving customer experience and profitability via data science

• Proficiency in version control systems

• Skilled in cloud-based data access and collaboration

• Excellent communicator with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical teams
