About the Role

As a Data Analyst at DRRT, you will play a critical role in reviewing, maintaining, and analysing investment transaction data and loss calculation records. The role involves working extensively with MS Excel, MS Access, DRRT GPS systems, and other analytical tools to identify data deficiencies, ensure accuracy, and support class action settlement claims.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, communicate findings clearly, and take ownership of data quality assurance. As you master core responsibilities, additional analytical and reporting tasks will be assigned, offering long-term growth and skill enhancement.

This is a full-time, on-site Data Analyst position in Mumbai, ideal for professionals who thrive in structured analytical environments and have strong financial and data validation skills.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Clean, validate, and maintain large volumes of transaction and investment data

• Identify data inconsistencies, deficiencies, and required corrections.

• Prepare and support proof of claims for class action settlements.

• Review and manage custodian confirmations for securities litigation claims.

• Analyse investment transaction data and loss calculations using Excel, Access, and GPS tools

• Compile, sort, arrange, and present analytical results as per business requirements.

• Combine and reconcile data outputs from multiple systems into secure repositories.

• Export, update, and maintain existing datasets whenever required

• Accurately transfer data from PDF documents to Excel for routine analysis.

• Create summary dashboards, overviews, and data analysis reports on request.

• Efficiently move and input data across multiple software applications.

• Clearly articulate analytical findings, issues, and scenarios to stakeholders.

• Perform QA checks and troubleshoot data discrepancies.

• Support additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Business Administration, MIS, or a related field
  (Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered)

• Strong working knowledge of SQL, statistics, and data analysis methodologies

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory.
  (Applications without advanced Excel proficiency will not be considered.)

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Access

• Fundamental understanding of financial concepts, including derivatives and financial statements

• Exposure to SPSS, R, Python, or Bloomberg is a plus

• Experience with data research, validation, and reporting is preferred.
