About the Role – Data Analyst

Eccentric is looking for a Data Analyst with 1–3 years of experience who can gather, organise, and interpret large datasets to support data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will work closely with product, development, and sales teams to analyse user behaviour, digital performance, and business metrics across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Google Analytics, SQL, Excel, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, curious, and capable of translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Eccentric, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, processing, and analysing data from multiple digital platforms using Google Analytics

  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs and performance metrics

  • Collaborating with development, product, and sales teams to understand data requirements and business objectives

  • Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets to generate actionable insights

  • Conducting A/B testing and user behaviour analysis to measure the impact of website and product changes

  • Assisting in Google Analytics implementation, including event tracking, goals, funnels, and custom dimensions

  • Ensuring data accuracy by validating tracking setups and troubleshooting analytics issues

  • Presenting insights, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • Continuously monitoring and optimizing KPIs across digital channels, including web and marketing platforms.

  • Staying updated with the latest Google Analytics features, data privacy regulations, and analytics best practices


Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Proven hands-on experience with Google Analytics and digital analytics tools

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics

  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical concepts

  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, and web analytics

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving ability and exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Willingness and ability to commute to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region office (onsite role)


Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Candidates with the following skills will have an added advantage:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio

  • Working knowledge of Python and BigQuery

  • Experience with hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and regression modelling

  • Exposure to large datasets and performance-driven digital environments
