As a Data Analyst at Kissht, you will play a key role in analysing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that help improve business performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with multiple teams across product, operations, and business functions to deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis and Insights

You will analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that can help the organisation make informed business decisions. Your insights will directly contribute to optimizing financial products and improving operational performance.

2. Dashboard Development

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to track critical business metrics such as:

  • Loan disbursements

  • Conversion rates

  • Risk metrics

  • Collections performance

  • Sales and marketing funnel analytics

These dashboards will provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into business performance.

3. Data Extraction and Transformation

Use SQL to extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple internal and external sources. Ensuring data accuracy and consistency will be a crucial part of this role.

4. Automation and Advanced Analytics

Leverage Python to automate data workflows, perform advanced analytics, and generate predictive insights. You will help streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency across teams.

5. Product and Experiment Analysis

Support A/B testing, cohort analysis, and feature performance tracking. By evaluating new product initiatives and experiments, you will help teams understand what works best for customers.

6. Market and Competitor Research

Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and areas where the company can strengthen its competitive position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Engineering

  • Business Administration

  • Mathematics

  • Statistics

  • Finance

  • Data Analytics or related discipline

Professional Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytics-focused role.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with:

  • SQL – for data extraction and database querying

  • Python – for data analysis, automation, and scripting

  • Tableau – for dashboard creation and business reporting

  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced) – including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data visualization tools

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills

  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
