Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping the business make informed decisions. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding day-to-day business challenges and identifying areas where data can provide meaningful insights

  • Compiling, cleaning, and analysing data from multiple sources related to ongoing and ad-hoc business issues

  • Conducting regular performance analysis and preparing recurring reports for internal stakeholders

  • Performing ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives

  • Developing clear, accurate, and visually engaging dashboards and reports to communicate complex data in a simple and actionable manner

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure analytical outputs align with business objectives

  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and dashboards

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field

  • Equivalent practical experience in data analysis will also be considered

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on Data Analysis experience

  • Experience working with business datasets and supporting decision-making through analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analysing large datasets

  • Experience with data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms)

  • Good understanding of data structures, metrics, and analytical methodologies

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear business insights

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
