Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and advanced SQL expertise to join our remote team in India. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about data governance, analytics, and business intelligence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, security, and usability across the organisation.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming raw datasets into meaningful insights, designing data governance frameworks, and supporting leadership with high-quality reporting and analytics.

This position is suitable for entry-level to mid-level professionals (0–5+ years of experience) who want to grow their careers in analytics while working in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at EMEA Entrepreneur, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilities

  • Designing and maintaining data architecture, data models, and metadata management systems to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives

  • Monitoring and reporting data quality, accuracy, and integrity metrics to senior management and stakeholders

  • Ensuring data security and confidentiality by implementing access controls, encryption, and data protection best practices

  • Supporting decision-making by delivering actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and SQL-based analysis

  • Developing and delivering training programs and documentation to educate employees on data governance best practices

  • Continuously improving data processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this remote Data Analyst role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of advanced SQL and relational databases

  • Experience working with structured datasets and large-scale data systems

  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts

  • Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics frameworks is a plus

Professional Experience

  • 0 to 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role

  • Fresh graduates with strong SQL and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
