As a Data Analyst at Engineering Realm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and usability across the organisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design data governance frameworks, support analytics initiatives, and deliver insights that drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for both technical data operations and strategic governance initiatives, including:

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish best practices for data ownership, classification, and lifecycle management.

  • Monitor adherence to governance frameworks and recommend continuous improvements.

Data Quality & Risk Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data risks, inconsistencies, and vulnerabilities.

  • Track, analyse, and report data quality and integrity metrics to senior management.

  • Design controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of enterprise data.

Data Architecture & Analytics Support

  • Design and maintain data architecture and metadata management systems to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

  • Use advanced SQL and relational databases to extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources.

  • Support reporting dashboards and analytical models that enable strategic decision-making.

Data Security & Access Control

  • Ensure data security and confidentiality by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption standards, and audit mechanisms.

  • Partner with internal teams to enforce secure data handling practices.

Training & Enablement

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance principles, data quality standards, and best practices.

  • Act as a subject matter resource for data-related processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this Data Analyst role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 0 to 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.

  • Fresh graduates with strong SQL and analytical foundations are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced SQL proficiency and strong understanding of relational databases.

  • Experience working with structured datasets and data quality metrics.

  • Familiarity with data governance concepts is a strong plus.
