About the Role: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Groww, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy by transforming complex datasets into clear insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyse performance metrics, build dashboards, automate reporting processes, and support data governance initiatives. Your work will directly influence product decisions, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency across the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare in-depth reports for management using relevant data, highlighting trends, anomalies, and actionable patterns.

  • Analyse financial, operational, and user behavior datasets to support strategic decisions.

2. Day-to-Day Data Support

  • Handle ad hoc data requests from stakeholders across product, growth, engineering, and leadership teams.

  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate insights.

3. Dashboarding & Automation

  • Build, maintain, and automate dashboards to track key performance metrics.

  • Develop scalable data visualisation solutions to simplify complex datasets.

4. Data Integrity & Normalisation

  • Support initiatives to enhance data quality, consistency, and governance.

  • Contribute to data standardisation practices for organisation-wide usage.

5. Reporting Requirements & Data Warehouse Support

  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to refine reporting requirements.

  • Assist in optimising data pipelines, data models, and analytics workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Groww is looking for candidates who bring strong analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and a user-focused mindset.

You should have:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or in an analytical role.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.

  • Experience working with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present insights clearly.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
