About the Role

As a Data Analyst cum MIS Executive, you will play a strategic role in supporting data-driven decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets while developing automated dashboards and reports using Google Workspace tools.

You will work closely with finance, operations, sales, and management teams to ensure accurate reporting, optimize data workflows, and identify performance trends that influence key business strategies.

This role is best suited for professionals with experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, dashboard creation, MIS reporting, and Google Apps Script automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and performance patterns.

  • Develop, automate, and maintain MIS reports and dashboards using Google Apps Script and Google Workspace tools.

  • Create interactive dashboards using Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) or Tableau.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and databases.

  • Design and implement efficient data collection and reporting systems.

  • Perform regular data validation and quality checks.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and management initiatives.

  • Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual workload.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, MIS Executive, or Business Intelligence Analyst.

  • Strong expertise in Google Apps Script and automation within Google Workspace.

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, query functions).

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) or Tableau.

  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modelling.

  • Hands-on experience with database management and data quality processes.

  • Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
