About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across operations, finance, sales, supply chain, and marketing to drive improvements in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in data tools, and a solid understanding of automotive or manufacturing business processes.


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Management

  • Gather, clean, and manage data from diverse sources, including production systems, sales databases, supply chain platforms, and customer feedback tools.

  • Maintain high data quality through regular audits and validation processes.

2. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse large datasets to detect trends, correlations, and performance gaps.

  • Apply statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques to support decision-making.

  • Recommend improvements to optimize production, sales forecasting, and customer engagement.

3. Performance Monitoring

  • Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, efficiency, inventory, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.

  • Identify anomalies and improvement opportunities through continuous monitoring.

4. Reporting & Visualisation

  • Build clear, accurate, and visually engaging dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Simplify complex datasets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

5. Predictive Analytics & Forecasting

  • Use predictive modelling and machine learning techniques to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and identify potential production or supply chain issues.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, production, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to support data-driven initiatives and strategic planning.

  • Drive a culture of informed decision-making across the organisation.

7. Market & Customer Analysis

  • Study market trends and customer behavior to support product development and targeted marketing strategies.

8. Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting tasks, reducing manual effort and enhancing accuracy.

  • Support ongoing improvements to data pipelines and analytics processes.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one programming language such as Python or R.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.

  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning fundamentals.

  • Knowledge of automotive trends, supply chain operations, and production metrics is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to translate complex data into business-friendly insights.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Python) are an added advantage.
