Role Overview

As a Business Analyst at WTW, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and supporting Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS). You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into clear, actionable specifications while ensuring solutions align with organisational goals.

This role demands strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate technical solutions in clear business language.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, HR, and related functions.

  • Define comprehensive configuration and development specifications, including acceptance criteria, to minimize development rework.

  • Translate complex technical solutions into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

  • Stay updated with evolving business processes and emerging IT advancements to continuously enhance system efficiency.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Review solution test cases and validate test results during System Testing and UAT cycles.

  • Perform high-level testing where required to ensure overall functionality and delivery quality.

  • Ensure solutions meet documented requirements and business expectations

Search Analytics & Reporting (Intranet Focus)

  • Lead SEO and Search Optimization calls with business teams, ICCM, MWS, and HR.

  • Strategise initiatives to reduce abandoned or failed searches within enterprise systems

  • Prepare and share monthly search performance reports using SP OOB data.

  • Support ad-hoc search analytics requests and content promotion initiatives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the overall Intranet Search experience and help execute improvements.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical documentation is accurate and comprehensive.

  • Document automated workflows, business logic, and system processes

  • Support troubleshooting, future enhancements, end-user guidance, and developer knowledge transfer

  • Ensure documentation serves as a long-term reference for both business and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent degree in Commerce, Business, or a related discipline

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise or corporate environments

  • Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting systems, and data-driven processes

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and development teams

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site work environment

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with UAT, test case validation, and reporting systems

  • Familiarity with enterprise search analytics and SEO concepts is an advantage.

  • Ability to balance technical depth with business understanding

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and documentation
