Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will work closely with departments such as sales, finance, compliance, and operations to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.

Your insights will help improve system processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the successful delivery of business and technology projects. This role is well-suited for analytical thinkers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex business problems using data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive awareness of business requirements across multiple business units using real-time data analysis.

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and substandard system processes and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from sales, finance, compliance, and security to gather and validate requirements.

  • Translate business needs into clear, structured functional specifications for technical and development teams.

  • Continuously evaluate and communicate system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and business process flows.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly status reports to management and key stakeholders.

  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by taking ownership, showing initiative, and driving outcomes in a rapidly evolving environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this Business Analyst role in Mumbai, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical role

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to analyse large datasets and translate insights into business recommendations

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site corporate environment
