Job Description: Business Analyst – DWH

As a Business Analyst – DWH, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyse, document, and deliver end-to-end requirements for data warehouse and analytics initiatives. You will ensure that business needs are accurately translated into functional and technical solutions while driving adoption and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end requirement gathering using multiple techniques such as interviews, workshops, documentation analysis, and stakeholder discussions.

  • Perform gap analysis and support product or process enhancements based on business needs.

  • Own requirement delivery lifecycle, from initial discovery to final implementation and closure

  • Create and maintain BRD (Business Requirement Documents) and FRD (Functional Requirement Documents)

  • Track, manage, and control requirements using JIRA or similar project tracking tools

  • Coordinate closely with technology, data, and engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation.

  • Develop UI/UX wireframes or mockups using PowerPoint or Figma to support requirement clarity.

  • Drive adoption, change management, and stakeholder alignment across teams.

  • Participate in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business requirements.

  • Support solution design and delivery planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Use basic SQL to validate data, perform checks, and support DWH-related analysis.

  • Ensure timely communication and closure of requirements across multiple stakeholders and hierarchy levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in requirement gathering methodologies

  • Hands-on experience with gap analysis and requirement tracking

  • Working knowledge of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts

  • BFSI domain understanding is highly preferred

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and coordinate effectively with tech teams

  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience creating BRD, FRD, and functional documentation

  • Exposure to UI/UX design, wireframing, or mockups using PPT or Figma

  • Knowledge of functional testing and UAT processes

  • Basic working knowledge of SQL

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Team player with the ability to work across multiple hierarchy levels
