About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Time AI/ML Research Intern to join our core AI team. This is a hands-on, high-impact internship where you will work on real production problems, not just academic exercises.

You will be involved in:

• Running AI experiments

• Fine-tuning models

• Exploring and implementing ideas from research papers and blogs

• Building and improving AI systems used by real learners

This internship is designed for students who want deep exposure to modern AI stacks, especially in the LLM ecosystem. You will work closely with experienced engineers and founders, learning how real-world AI products are built, evaluated, and scaled.

Although timings are flexible and can be adjusted around your classes, this is a full-time internship. Good availability is essential to make a meaningful contribution.

Responsibilities

As an AI/ML Research Intern, you will:

• Design and run AI experiments on real user data and learning flows

• Fine-tune LLMs and evaluate their performance

• Research and implement approaches from AI research papers, blogs, and open-source communities

• Build and improve RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines

• Work with vector databases and embedding systems

• Explore new models, training techniques, and tools from platforms like Hugging Face

• Prototype and iterate quickly using Colab and internal tools

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to bring research into production

• Stay up-to-date with evolving AI trends and best practices

You will not just “learn” AI—you will apply it in a real startup environment.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Prior internship experience in AI/ML or strong AI/ML projects

• Hands-on experience using Python or NodeJS

• Working knowledge of:

  • LLMs

  • RAG systems

  • Vector databases

• Basic software engineering knowledge:

  • Relational databases

  • Rate limiting concepts

  • Basics of security

• Comfort using:

  • GitHub

  • Google Colab

• Strong communication skills

• A sense of ownership and responsibility

• Curiosity and agility to adapt in a fast-moving startup

Most importantly, you should enjoy learning, experimenting, and building.
