About the Role
The PMU Operations & Government Liaison Manager will serve as the primary interface between the PMU (Project Management Unit) and government stakeholders. The role combines government relationship management, team coordination, office administration, and operational oversight to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the PMU.
This is a highly visible and hands-on position requiring strong communication skills, administrative expertise, and the ability to navigate government systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Government Liaison & Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact with government departments and officials.
- Build and maintain trusted working relationships across different levels of government.
- Coordinate approvals, requests, and administrative processes effectively.
- Resolve operational blockers proactively using contextual understanding and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate smooth communication between the PMU and government agencies.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders and partners.
- Represent the PMU professionally during meetings and official interactions.
- Escalate operational challenges or risks to leadership with actionable recommendations.
- Support collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Team Support & Coordination
- Support the PMU team in day-to-day operations and employee coordination.
- Assist senior leadership in monitoring attendance, staff welfare, and team performance.
- Help maintain a productive and positive work environment.
- Serve as a primary operational support contact for team members.
Office & Workspace Management
- Conduct regular office walkthroughs to ensure workspace cleanliness and organisation.
- Maintain staff attendance logs and monitor workspace availability.
- Coordinate office access for employees and visitors.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate operational updates with the team using tools like Google Chat.
Eligibility & Skills Required
Candidates with experience in operations management, government relations, public sector coordination, or development sector administration are encouraged to apply.

Salary Expectation
