📌Business Analyst Role Overview

Ernst & Young (EY) is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to drive business transformation, process re-engineering, and data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-impact business outcomes.

💼 Key Responsibilities

📊 Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Gather and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories)
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions
  • Define scope, objectives, and business solutions aligned with strategy

🔄 Process Design & Transformation

  • Perform gap analysis and develop To-Be models
  • Drive process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support organizational transformation and business case development

🤝 Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Engage with senior stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Present insights, solutions, and recommendations
  • Support pre-sales by aligning solutions with business KPIs

⚙️ Agile & Delivery Execution

  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams and support sprint prioritization
  • Ensure successful implementation and platform adoption
  • Collaborate across teams for end-to-end project delivery

🎯 Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in Business Analysis & BPM (Business Process Management)
  • Experience in gap analysis, process re-engineering, and transformation
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

🛠️ Tools & Technologies:

  • JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Miro, Mural
  • MS Office 365 Suite, MS Project
  • Knowledge of ERP/SAP, MuleSoft, DevOps (good to have)

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory)
  • MBA (preferred)
  • Business Analyst certification (CBAP or similar – preferred)

⭐ Preferred Skills

  • Experience in ERP / SAP / Integration platforms
  • Exposure to financial services domain
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and project lifecycle
