MetLife is looking for a Senior Data Analyst I to play a key role in the end-to-end data and analytics lifecycle. You will work on production-grade data solutions, collaborate with global teams, and drive impactful insights across business functions.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and create functional requirement documents
  • Analyze data in line with business processes and requirements
  • Collaborate with data engineering, governance, and data science teams
  • Validate data pipelines and ensure data quality
  • Contribute to data architecture, modeling, and governance initiatives
  • Mentor junior data analysts
  • Lead solution design, estimations, and delivery of analytics projects
  • Engage with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Big Data, and Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Azure, Hadoop, RDBMS, and document databases
  • Knowledge of data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading teams

⭐ Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Erwin (data modeling tools)
  • Exposure to Databricks, serverless SQL
  • Knowledge of Data Governance & Data Quality frameworks
  • Exposure to Gen AI tools and technologies
  • BFSI domain experience
