Role Overview: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Scry AI, you will play a critical role in turning raw data into business intelligence that informs strategic and operational decisions. You will work closely with product managers, marketing teams, leadership, and client-facing teams, delivering dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses that directly impact growth, retention, and customer success.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management

  • Extract, clean, and process data from databases, APIs, CRM systems, and product usage logs

  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources.

  • Build and manage well-structured datasets for ongoing and ad hoc analysis

Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and automated reports to track KPIs related to:

    • Product usage and adoption

    • Sales pipeline and funnel performance

    • Marketing campaigns

    • Customer success and retention

  • Conduct cohort, funnel, segmentation, and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Perform root cause analysis for operational issues and data anomalies

Business Insights and Collaboration

  • Partner with product, marketing, and account teams to define metrics and success criteria

  • Present insights using clear visualizations and storytelling techniques

  • Support leadership with data-backed insights for:

    • Business reviews

    • Go-to-market strategies

    • Product roadmap planning

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst in a SaaS or enterprise software environment

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

  • Working knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.

  • Solid understanding of product analytics, marketing analytics, or revenue analytics
