Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft, you will:

• Apply core engineering principles to solve complex and real-world technical problems using creative and scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and understand user and business requirements for new features.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software that meets performance, reliability, and security standards.

• Quickly learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, technologies, and engineering methodologies.

• Seek feedback from peers and mentors, and incorporate industry best practices to continuously improve technical solutions.

• Demonstrate effective time management and contribute to projects within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Must have at least one academic semester/term remaining after completing the internship.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
