About the Role: Cybersecurity Sr. Analyst at Unisys
As a Cybersecurity Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting enterprise systems, networks, and data against evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for overseeing security risk management, leading incident response efforts, collaborating with SOC and resolver teams, and strengthening Unisys’ overall security posture.
This role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex threat intelligence into actionable security recommendations. You will also act as a bridge between operational teams, security operations centres (SOC), and leadership stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:

Oversee the management of security risks, including identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.

Ensure organisational compliance with security policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Collaborate with resolver teams, SOC teams, and IT stakeholders to mitigate identified risks.

Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, breaches, and threat investigations.
-
Assist in the architecture, deployment, and optimization of security tools and platforms.
-
Analyse global and regional threat landscapes and provide actionable intelligence.

Serve as the primary liaison for third-party audits, compliance assessments, and evaluations.

Work closely with IT teams to prioritize, approve, and patch vulnerabilities across workstations and servers.

Act as a communication bridge between Resolver Teams and SOC for security-related issues.

Support the creation of security dashboards, metrics, and executive-level security reports.

Create, maintain, and regularly update risk registers and report on key risk indicators (KRIs).

Provide strategic recommendations to continuously improve the enterprise security posture.

Approve monthly patching cycles for servers and endpoints.

Develop, review, and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across security operations and threat intelligence, including:

Strong experience in incident response, threat detection, and SOC operations.

Hands-on knowledge of vulnerability assessments and vulnerability management programs.
-
Proficiency with threat-hunting tools, SIEM platforms, and advanced detection techniques.

In-depth understanding of key threat landscapes, attack vectors, and adversary behaviours.

Strong working knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

Ability to convert technical threat data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Experience working independently to identify and investigate emerging threats within enterprise networks.

Familiarity with security platforms such as Microsoft Defender ATP, Office 365 ATP, and related tools.

Solid understanding of cloud security principles, networking concepts, and best practices.
-
Experience supporting threat modelling and risk analysis of complex systems.
-
Willingness and ability to learn new tools, platforms, and technologies in a fast-changing environment.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

A university degree or equivalent education with relevant cybersecurity experience.

Minimum 6 years of experience in the security domain, with exposure to enterprise security products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including reporting and documentation.

Ability to participate in on-call security support rotations.
-
A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage)
