Job Summary – Cloud Engineer (AI & Azure DevOps)

As a Cloud Engineer – AI & Azure DevOps, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with development, AI, and security teams to implement Infrastructure as Code, automate CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud costs, and ensure compliance with security best practices.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with Azure, and the ability to efficiently manage cloud environments while supporting AI workloads and DevOps automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for enterprise and AI-based applications

  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

  • Build, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build and release processes.

  • Support AI and machine learning platforms hosted on Azure

  • Automate cloud operations, monitoring, scaling, and backup processes

  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to enable test automation and continuous integration.

  • Monitor cloud performance and optimize cost, reliability, and scalability.

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure high availability of cloud services

  • Follow industry best practices for cloud architecture, automation, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this Cloud Engineer role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Mandatory Skills

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud – Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience

  • Azure DevOps – CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Practical experience with infrastructure provisioning

  • Cloud Automation – Scripting and automation for deployment and operations

  • Security Best Practices – Identity management, access control, and compliance

Additional Requirements (As Added by Job Poster)

  • 1+ years of work experience with Test Automation

  • 1+ years of work experience with Infrastructure management

  • Ability to start immediately

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based application deployment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML workloads on Azure

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging solutions

  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 4 to 8 years in Cloud Engineering, Azure DevOps, or related roles

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
