Role Overview: Analyst (0+ Years – Entry Level)

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst with solid foundational skills in MS Excel and SQL to join our Analytics team in Bangalore. This entry-level role is best suited for fresh graduates or early professionals who are comfortable working with data and passionate about building careers in analytics, climate technology, or sustainability-driven decision-making.

As an Analyst at Sentra.World, you will support ongoing data processing, reporting, and insights generation activities that power client programs and operational workflows. This role offers structured opportunities for mentorship, rapid learning, and exposure to real-world industrial data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Manipulation

• Perform data cleaning, aggregation, and transformation using MS Excel.

• Apply intermediate-level Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formulas, and other advanced utilities.

• Use SQL to write and execute queries for data extraction, transformation (ETL), and validation.

• Build datasets that support modelling, reports, dashboards, and sustainability metrics.

2. Reporting & Business Support

• Assist senior analysts and program managers with analytical tasks, documentation, and project delivery.

• Develop, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tied to carbon emissions, efficiency metrics, operational activities, and client performance.

• Support the creation of dashboards and visual summaries that enable data-driven decision-making.

3. Quality Assurance

• Validate datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across internal systems and reporting tools.

• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately.

• Contribute to process improvements in data ingestion, validation, and reporting frameworks.

• Maintain high standards of data quality for all analytical deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Open to fresh graduates, entry-level professionals, or those with up to 1 year of experience.

• No prior full-time work experience is mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).

• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.

• Ability to understand business logic, data structures, and basic analytical models.
