Role Summary: Associate – Data Scientist

As an Associate Data Scientist, you will support senior data scientists and analytics experts in executing analytical projects. Your responsibilities will revolve around gathering data, performing data preprocessing, applying basic statistical methods, preparing exploratory data analysis (EDA), and contributing to the creation of predictive or descriptive insights. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as an Associate Data Scientist at EXL, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Foundational knowledge of statistics, probability, and analytical problem-solving.

  • Basic proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, or similar data analysis platforms.

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, and model evaluation.

  • Ability to handle large datasets, perform data cleaning, and apply preprocessing techniques.
