As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our analytics team to support data-backed decisions for Operations, Sales, Finance, Growth, and Leadership teams.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Data Analyst with 2+ years of industry experience who can efficiently analyse data, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives. In this role, you will execute end-to-end analytics—from data collection and cleaning to dashboard development and insights presentation. You will collaborate with multiple teams to understand business challenges and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Nestaway, you will be responsible for:

1. Data Collection, Cleaning & Transformation

  • Collect data from multiple internal systems and databases.

  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Maintain scalable data processes and pipelines for routine reporting.

2. Reporting, Dashboards & Visualisation

  • Build automated dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

  • Develop visually compelling analytics models to support cross-functional decision-making.

  • Continuously upgrade reporting tools and dashboards for efficiency and clarity.

3. Business Insights & Analysis

  • Identify trends, performance patterns, and growth opportunities.

  • Support business planning, monthly reviews, and strategic initiatives with data-driven insights.

  • Work with Operations, Sales, Growth, and Finance teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.

4. KPI Tracking & Performance Management

  • Monitor key business metrics and report deviations or risks proactively.

  • Track operational performance, cost efficiencies, conversion funnels, and retention metrics.

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Present insights and analytical findings to internal teams and leadership.

  • Simplify complex data into easy-to-understand visual stories and presentations.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel (Advanced) and SQL (Intermediate–Strong).

  • Experience with at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and analyse business performance metrics.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly.

  • Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related fields.

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.

  • Experience in consumer tech, real estate, SaaS, or operations-led businesses is a plus.

  • Prior experience working in fast-paced, data-focused teams.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to commute to our HSR, Bengaluru office (on-site role).

  • Minimum 2+ years of SQL experience.

  • Minimum 1+ years of Python programming experience.
