About the Role

TCS Thane is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with expertise in SQL and Advanced Excel. You will be responsible for analysing complex data, building data models, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand assessment solution configurations and business requirements.

  • Collect, process, and analyse large datasets to extract insights.

  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.

  • Perform data modelling and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, present analytical findings, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Document data analysis processes and maintain data quality standards.

Required Technical Skillset

  • MySQL

  • MS Excel

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Excel and Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data.

  • Excellent data interpretation and presentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Experience in data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
